Hi
I’m Gisele, a graphic designer based in Orange County/Los Angeles, California with a passion for striking design. I graduated from California State University, Long Beach in 2019 and the desire to strengthen my visual literacy led me to taking UCLA Extension’s Design Communication Arts Certificate Program.
I have extensive experience as the graphic designer for CSULB’s campus newspaper, the Daily Forty-Niner (now known as Long Beach Current). During my time there, I led the production of the newspaper each week alongside deputy designers and was promoted from Design Editor to Creative Director after one semester. Aside from editorial design, I specialize in typography, branding, and package design.
With my knowledge in team building, collaboration, and time management and skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, I am prepared to handle anything that comes my way.
